POTTER, Beatrix. The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin. London: Frederick Warne and Co., 1903. First or second printing, 16mo (138 x 103mm.) 27 plates. (Rear endpaper stuck to last text leaf, with surface residue and loss, lower joint broken, frontispiece loose.) Original blue boards with pictorial roundel inset to upper cover (rubbing to spine ends). [Linder, p.423]. - And a further forty-one illustrated volumes for children, mainly Beatrix Potter (42).
