HUNTING. - Gordon CUMMING. Wild Men and Wild Beasts, Scenes in Camp and Jungle. Edinburgh: Edmonston & Douglas, 1871. First edition, signed by the author, 8vo (214 x 146mm.) 18 plates, including 8 tinted. (Toning, occasional spotting to plate margins.) Contemporary green morocco, pictorial gilt and titling to upper cover, gilt turn-ins, e.g. (some rubbing to extremities). Provenance: 'Mrs. Brand' (ink inscribed to by the author on the half-title); H.F. Salt (bookplate to the front pastedown).
