BINDINGS. - Lucy AIKIN. Memoirs of the Court of King James the First. London: Longman, Hurst, Rees, Orme and Brown, 1822. 2 vols., second edition, 8vo (207 x 131mm.) 2 engraved frontispieces. (Browning, moderate spotting.) Near contemporary full brown diced morocco with two morocco lettering pieces to the spines (rubbing to extremities). Provenance: Elisa Bridges (name inscribed to front-free endpaper); Robert Hutchinson (bookplate to front pastedowns, embossed stamp to initial blanks). - And a further twenty-five volumes (including Agnes Strickland's 'Lives of the Queens of England', 6 vols., 1864, 8vo) (27).
