CAULFIELD, James. The Court of Queen Elizabeth: Originally Written by Sir Robert Naunton, under the title of 'Fragmenta Regalia'. London: G. Smeeton, 1814. 4to (368 x 240mm.) 22 engraved portraits, including 1 mounted. (Spotting to plate margins and verso.) Contemporary brown half morocco over marbled paper-covered boards (rubbing to extremities, lower cover nearly detached, tape repair at top of spine). Note: this is the large paper copy. Provenance: Ernest Bryan Gipps (bookplate to the front pastedown).
