A late 19th/early 20th century French kingwood and thuya writing desk with overall applied gilt bronze mounts, the galleried top with two oak-lined drawers flanked by a pair of lifting doors, the frieze with cast cherubic panel flanked by two further drawers, on slender cabriole legs terminating in claw sabots, height 101cm, width 81cm, depth 58cm.
