Oxford: at the Theatre, to be sold by Peter Parker, 1682. Folio (292 x 210mm.) Title ruled in red and black with engraved Royal Coat-of-arms to General and NT title, includes 'Book of Common Prayer' and Apocrypha, engraved frontispiece of Charles II, with 'The Whole Book of Psalm'. (Numerous loose leaves, text-block cracked, marginal paper repairs, particularly to frontispiece, browning, occasional soiling.) Contemporary red morocco, later red morocco lettering piece to the spine, g.e. (rebacked, tape reinforcement to hinges, endpapers replaced, heavily rubbed and discoloured). Provenance: Henry Streatfeild (ink name to title and bookplate to front pastedown). [Herbert 769 C].
