SPIELMANN, M.H. and G.S. LAYARD. Kate Greenaway. London: Adam and Charles Black, 1905. Limited edition, this being number 260 of 500 copies signed by John Greenaway and with an original sketch by Kate Greenaway, 4to (268 x 199mm.) Original pencil sketch window-mounted before the half-title, colour frontispiece with tissue-guard, numerous colour plates with captioned tissue-guards and uncoloured plates. (Toning to margins, occasional spotting to tissue-guards, cloth reinforcement to joints.) Original cream cloth, gilt lettering (rebacked, browning, minor soiling to lower cover).
