ARBER, Edward (editor). The First Printed English New Testament Translated by William Tyndale. London: [Peter Schoeffer], 1871. 4to (207 x 156mm.) Lithographed facsimile of the original from 1525. (Spotting to preliminaries and rear leaves.) Contemporary panelled calf, red morocco lettering piece to the spine (rebacked, rubbing to extremities). Provenance: Fanny Hind (name inscribed verso the front-free endpaper). - And a further nineteen volumes of facsimile Bibles (including 'The Holy Bible, a Facsimile in a reduced size of the Authorized Version published in the year 1611', 1911, 4to) and including three modern spelling variants (20).
