A 19th century mahogany chamber table, in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster, the top with a hinged pen and ink compartment, fitted with a single frieze drawer, on reeded tapering legs, height 74cm, width 61.5cm, depth 45.5cm. Note: a similar table design can be seen in 'Gillows of Lancaster and London 1730-1840' by Susan E. Stuart, page 300.
