A 20th century Burmese gilded and red painted Pat-Waing drum frame, each section carved and pierced with foliage, and applied with mirrored panels, height 94cm, diameter 150cm. Note: the Pat-Waing is part of the Hsaing Waing, a traditional Burmese musical ensemble, and would have originally held a series of drums to the interior.
