A Chinese red silk embroidered altar panel, late Qing dynasty, decorated with four black characters, all within framing and borders, worked in coloured threads with bats, birds, fruit, Buddhistic emblems and animals, flanked by a pair of standing immortals on a red ground within a cream border filled with polychrome flowers, edged with applied brass and mirrored panels, approx 100cm x 367cm (some faults).
