Two Chinese export ivory brisé fans, mid-19th century, the guards carved in relief with figures, one with twenty sticks carved in low relief and pierced with a shield shaped monogram panel within a surround of figures, length 18cm, the other carved in low relief and pierced with village scenes of figures, pavilions and trees, length 18.5cm, each framed in a glazed display case.
