PHAEDRUS. - Daniel BELLAMY (translator). Phaedri Fabulae Selectae, Latinè, Anglicè, Gallicè: Fifty Instructive and Entertaining Fables of Phaedrus, in Latin, French and English. Attempted after a New Method for the Speedy Improvement of Youth in Schools. London: J.J. and P. Knapton et al., 1734. Small 4to (197 x 116mm.) Engraved frontispiece 'Histrionem Agimus', tri-lingual text in three columns, numerous engraved illustrations. (Mild toning, blanks replaced.) Near contemporary brown calf, triple fillet borders, green morocco lettering piece to the spine, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (some discolouring to covers, upper cover loosening, endpapers replaced).
