DICKENS, Charles. The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain. A Fancy for Christmas-Time. London: Bradbury & Evans, 1848. First edition, 12mo (166 x 96mm.) 2pp. publisher's advertisements to front, engraved frontispiece and vignette to additional title, illustrations by J. Tenniel, J. Leech and others. (Toning, occasional light spotting, several corner creases, ink-spot to fore-edge, marginal damp-stain to frontispiece and additional title.) Original red cloth with gilt wreath to upper cover, g.e. (slight loss to spine panel ends, extremities rubbed). - And a further fourteen literary volumes (including 'Reynard the Fox, translated by the late Thomas Roscoe' illustrated by A.T. Elwes and John Jellicoe, [circa 1873], 4to) (15).
