POPE, Alexander. The Works… in Six Volumes Complete with his Last Corrections, Additions and Improvements. London: C. Bathurst, 1788. 6 vols., 12mo (178 x 96mm.) Numerous engraved plates, an extra engraved portrait of Pope mounted on initial blank of volume 1. (Browning, spotting to preliminaries.) Contemporary mottled calf, red and green morocco lettering pieces to the spines (rebacked, some wear to spine of volume 2 and 6, rubbing). - And a further fourteen volumes (including Antoine-Joseph Dezallier de Argenville's 'Voyage Pittoresque de Paris', 1778, 12mo, and Ovid's 'Art of Love… together with his Remedy of Love') (20).
