CHAPMAN, Abel. Savage Sudan, Its Wild Tribes, Big-Game and Bird-Life. London: Gurney and Jackson, 1921. First edition, 8vo (228 x 145mm.) 30 plates. (Minor spotting verso the frontispiece.) Original green cloth with a gilt warthog to upper cover and gilt outline of a buffalo to lower cover (lightly bumped spine ends). - And a further sixteen volumes relating to hunting and natural history (including 'Snaffles's [Robert Dunkin] 'In the Land of the Bora', 1897, 8vo). Provenance: from the estate of the late Frank Warren (17).
