MAY, Thomas. The History of the Parliament of England: which began November the third, M.DC.XL. with a short and necessary view of some precedent years. London: Moses Bell, 1647. First edition, 4to (288 x 178mm.) Title in red and black with rose and crown device, imprimatur leaf, engraved initials and headpiece, in three parts. (Toning, occasional browning, blanks replaced.) Early 19th century calf (upper cover detached, endpapers replaced).
