Frontispiece and 3 vignettes in colour by John Craxton. (Minor spotting to pastedowns and endpapers, also to fore-edge.) Original black buckrum, red spine label with gilt lettering (slight fading to spine). Note: the trade edition was not published until 1957. - And a with a further five volumes by Patrick Leigh Fermor (including a first edition of 'Roumeli', 1966, 8vo). Provenance: from the estate of the late Frank Warren (6).
