SHOOTING. - Ralph PAYNE-GALLWEY. The Book of Duck Decoys, their Construction, Management and History. London: John van Voorst, 1886. First edition, 4to (252 x 180mm.) 13 colour plates, including 1 folding and 1 double-paged. (Toning, some uncut leaves.) Original blue cloth, gilt lettering to upper cover and spine (minor staining to upper cover). Provenance: Bolton Public Library (small stamp to last text leaf). - And a further three volumes by the same author ('Letters to Young Shooters', 1896-1914, 3 vols., 8vo). Provenance: from the estate of the late Frank Warren (4).
