MILLAIS, John Guille. British Deer and Their Horns. London: Henry Sotheran and Co., 1897. First edition, folio (387 x 300mm.) Colour frontispiece by the author, 10 electrogravure plates, numerous illustrations. (Toning, occasional spotting to plate margins.) Original brown pictorial buckram designed by Millais, t.e.g. (light rubbing). - And a further 3 volumes by J.G. Millais ('The Mammals of Great Britain and Ireland', 3 vols., 1904-1906, 4to). Provenance: from the estate of the late Frank Warren (4).
