A rare mid-20th century Danish polished steel and black leather 'Scimitar' chair, model number IS-63, circa 1963, designed by Preben Fabricius and Jørgen Kastholm, and manufactured by Ivan Schlechter, bearing embossed manufacturer's logo to underside of leather and stamped to base 'Stainless Steel Danmark', height 64.5cm, width 82cm, depth 63cm.
