                A rare Victorian silver novelty smoker's companion, finely cast and modelled as a monkey riding a bear supporting two circular bowls and a wicker basket on its back, the monkey forming the table lighter, the detachable head cover wearing a plumed helmet and smoking a pipe/cigar, on a naturalistic oval base, London 1876 by Robert Hennell, stamped registration lozenge to underside and inscribed 'H. Lewis, 7 New Bond St, London' to side of base, weight 387.8g, height 11.5cm, length 12.5cm.
