An early 19th century Russian silver and niello rectangular snuff box, 84 zolotnik, the hinged lid decorated with a scene of the equestrian statue of Peter the Great in St Petersburg, the underside with trophies of war, Moscow 1826 by assay master Nicholai Bubrovin, weight 81.8g, length 8.2cm.
