A pair of Chinese porcelain vases, Republic period, of square section, painted with opposing scenes of a figure resting beneath a pine tree and birds perched on prunus branches, the other two sides moulded in low relief with three vignettes filled with painted panels of figures, flowers and precious vessels, black four-character mark and two red seals to sides, height 28.5cm.
