A Chinese Canton export ivory brisé fan, mid-19th century, the guards carved in relief with birds and flowers, the twenty-four sticks carved and pierced with an oval landscape panel flanked by fish vignettes against a floral ground, length 18.3cm, together with another Canton ivory brisé fan, length 18.9cm.
