An unusual 18th century Continental oak box, fitted with a three-key lock plate, the interior with candlebox, the sides with carved foliate decoration, the reverse bearing date '1707', height 23cm, width 50.5cm, depth 28cm. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector.
