KIPLING, Rudyard. Just So Stories for Little Children. London: Macmillan and Co., Limited, 1902. First edition, 4to (231 x 166mm.) Numerous illustrations by the author. (Toning, spotting to preliminaries and red dye stain to corner of leaves at front and rear, small corner loss to front-free endpaper.) Original red pictorial cloth (some fading, minor soiling to lower cover, extremities bumped, hinges tender). Note: second sate binding. Provenance: Alix M. Troup (name inscribed to front-free endpaper); Joan Willes (name inscribed to front-free endpaper). - And a further eleven illustrated volumes (including Rudyard Kipling's 'Kim', 1902, 8vo) (12).
