Engraved portrait frontispiece, 4 engraved plates. (Spotting to margins and verso the frontispiece, toning.) Near contemporary brown half morocco bound by Bickers & Sons, t.e.g. (lightly rubbed). - And a further two volumes ('Biographical and Critical Essays' by A. Hayward, bound by Maclehouse, 2 vols., 1858, 8vo) (3).
