CONJURING. - William J. HILLIAR. Modern Magician's Hand Book. Chicago: Frederick J. Drake & Co., 1902. First edition, 8vo (193 x 129mm.) Numerous illustrations. (Mild toning.) Original blue cloth with pictorial red, black and white stamping to upper cover (lightly bumped spine ends). Provenance: L. Davenport & Co. (mounted paper label mounted over imprint). - And a further eleven volumes related to conjuring (including Professor Hoffmann's 'Magical Titbits', 1911, 8vo, and C. Lang Neil's 'The Modern Conjurer and Drawing-Room Entertainer', 1903, 8vo). Provenance: by descent, from the estate of Barry Murray (12).
