BIBLE, In English. The Holy Bible, Containing the Old Testament and the New: Translated out of the Original Greek, and with the former Translations diligently Compared and Revised. Cambridge: by J. Archdeacon and J. Burgess, 1795. 2 vols., 8vo (137 x 69mm.) (Toning, occasional browning.) Near contemporary calf, scrolling gilt foliate to covers and spines, green morocco numbering pieces inlaid to spines, g.e. (rubbing to all extremities). Provenance: Moneypenny (pencil name inscribed to front blank). - And a further five volumes (including 'The Psalms of David in Metre According to the Version Approved by the Church of England', 1813, 8vo, and 'The Laws and Acts Made in the First Parliament of our Most High and Dread Soveraign James VII', 1685, 8vo) (7).
