London: Samuel Smith, 1682. First English edition, folio (313 x 197mm.) Title, Ethiopic alphabet plate, genealogical table, 8 engraved plates, 7 folding. (Damp-stain to lower margin throughout, browning, burn holes to margin of Kk2, small hole to rear blank.) 18th century half-calf, later red morocco lettering piece to the spine (rebacked, rubbing to extremities, pencil notes to front pastedown). Provenance: Henry Randolph Trafford (bookplate to front pastedown) [Wing L3468.]
