MORRIS, F.O. A History of British Birds. London: John C. Nimmo, 1897. 6 vols., fourth edition, large 8vo (261 x 178mm.) 392 hand-coloured lithographed plates. (Toning, a tear to dedication page in volume 1, 4pp. loose in volume 3 and 1 plate loosening, browning to preliminaries and rear leaves.) Original cloth, pictorial gilt (wear to spine ends, some hinges weakening, staining to spine panels) (6).
