FORSTER, E.M. Alexandria: A History and a Guide. Alexandria: Whitehead Morris Limited, 1922. First edition, 8vo (184 x 114mm.) 2 folding maps. (Lacking 1 folding map, a damp-stain to the lower margins throughout, toning, blanks replaced.) Later brown half morocco over paper-covered boards (endpapers replaced). Note: has the map intended for p.144 at p.44. As with Italy and India, Forster's time in Egypt was significant in terms of his personal growth. - And a further five volumes relating to travel (including William Cochran's 'Pen and Pencil in Asia Minor', 1887, 8vo) (6).
