London: William Heinemann, 1915. 2 vols., first edition, large 8vo (244 x 171mm.) 2 photogravure frontispieces with tissue-guards, 18 colour plates with captioned tissue-guards, numerous half-tone photographic plates, 13 folding panoramas and 3 folding maps in rear pocket of volume 2. (Toning, light spotting, occasionally moderate to heavy, spotting to fore-edge, some browning.) Original blue cloth, silver vignettes to upper covers and gilt lettering (lightly bumped, mark to upper cover of volume 2) (2).
