INDIAN ART. - T.A. Gopinatha RAO. Elements of Hindu Iconography. Madras: The Law Printing House, 1914-1916. 2 vols. in 4., first edition, 8vo (243 x 178mm.) Numerous plates with tissue-guards, some folding. (Toning, occasional spotting to volume 1, browning and light to moderate spotting to volume 2, spotting to fore-edges, lacking blanks?) Original blue cloth (some damp-spotting and discolouring to volume 2, extremities rubbed). Provenance: Oscar Meyer Antiques (stamps to the half-titles) (4).
