A near pair of rare Victorian silver novelty jester pepper casters, each finely modelled as a standing court jester, the removable pierced hat cover with decorative scroll piercing, on a textured circular base, London 1868 and 1870 by Robert Hennell, stamped registration lozenge to underside, total weight 314.2g, heights 13.3cm.
