							LOT 1121
                A Tibetan cast bronze figure of a healing horse, probably 16th century, modelled standing with left front leg raised, wearing a detachable prayer collar, height 14cm, length 16.7cm, with wood stand. Provenance: from the estate of a West Sussex collector. Note: healing horses were more prevalent in China; they were used on human and animal patients to indicate the sources of pain. This figure is illustrated in Alain Presencer's 'Tibetan Buddhist Art', item 23, page 90.
