A Japanese Satsuma earthenware koro and cover by Yozan, Meiji period, the compressed globular body painted and gilt with a continuous scene of red-capped cranes flying above crashing waves, on short tripod feet, iron red painted signature to base, height 11cm (cover missing finial and repaired).
