SEAWEED. - [An album of specimens from Jersey algae. N.p.: circa 1860.] 84pp., manuscript, 4to (235 x 149mm.) 137 specimens of seaweed and other marine plants mounted recto only on 84 leaves, mounted captions in manuscript and printed detailing the Latin name and classification, poem mounted verso the front-free endpaper. (Browning, occasional creasing and minor soiling.) Contemporary brown half calf over marbled paper-covered boards (fading and rubbing extremities, joints splitting).
