COOKERY. - Owen SIMMONS. The Book of Bread. London: Maclaren & Sons, [1903.] First edition, 4to (284 x 201mm.) 12 chromolithographed plates, 8 tipped-in black and white plates, 2 tipped-in gelatin silver prints, advertisements to rear. (Several plates with corner creasing, toning, spotting to fore-edge.) Original green decorative cloth (lightly rubbed, some fading). - And a further four related volumes (including T. Percy Lewis' and A.G. Bromley's 'The Book of Cakes', [1903], 4to, and three of five volumes of the 'All About Confectionary Series' by H.G. Harris and S.P. Borella, [circa 1910], 4to) (5).
