HUMPHREYS, H.N. and J.O. WESTWOOD. British Butterflies and their Transformations. London: Wm. S. Orr & Co., 1856. 4to (286 x 214mm.) Additional hand-coloured title, 42 hand-coloured lithographic plates. (Moderate to heavy marginal soiling throughout, plate 29 creased and torn, pencil marks to margin of plate 15, minor spotting.) Original red cloth (rubbing to all extremities, fading). Provenance: Joshua Parsons (name inscribed front-free endpaper). - And a further five miscellaneous volumes (6).
