GAINSBOROUGH, Thomas. - W.F. WELLS and J. LAPORTE (engravers). A Collection of Prints Illustrative of English Scenery, from the Drawings and Sketches of Thos. Gainsborough. London: John and Josiah Boydell, [n.d. but circa 1819]. Folio (425 x 290mm.) 60 soft-ground etched plates, many hand-coloured. (Occasional light soiling, spotting to front and rear blanks.) Contemporary red straight-grain morocco, densely infilled gilt borders, g.e. (extremities rubbed and scuffed, small section of spine panel chipped but retained).
