First edition, large 8vo (252 x 151mm.) 11 tinted lithographic plates (Lacking 1 plate, 1 plate with marginal loss, several plates with some marginal damp-staining, toning, blanks replaced.) 20th century brown half morocco over marbled paper-covered boards, gilt lettering to spine (endpapers replaced). - And a related volume (William Rice's 'Tiger-Shooting in India, being an Account of Hunting Experiences on Foot in Rajpootana', [lacking three plates], 1857, large 8vo) (2).
