Eighth edition, 8vo (164 x 101mm.) Several wood-engraved illustrations in the text, index to rear. (Toning, spotting to preliminaries, occasional pencil annotation.) Original red blind-stamped cloth, pictorial gilt to spine (rebacked with original spine laid-down, minor soiling to cloth). - And a further ten volumes related to cookery (including 'The Encyclopaedia of Practical Cookery' edited by Theodore Francis Garrett, [circa 1895], 2 vols., thick 4to, and M.A. Fairclough's 'The Ideal Cookery Book', [circa 1920], thick 8vo) (11).
