Lithographed title, 14 colour illustrations by 'Crowquill', 2pp. publisher's advertisements bound-in at rear. (Front blank loosening, rear blank corner-clipped, toning, minor soiling, occasional spotting, inner hinge weakening.) Original pictorial boards (rubbing to extremities). Provenance: Kate Marfill (name inscribed to the initial blank). - And a further eight volumes of children's books (including 'The Courtship, Marriage, Death and Burial of Cock Robin' illustrated by Henry Stannard, [circa 1870], 4to) (9).
