A Japanese cloisonné two-handled jar and cover, Meiji period, the ovoid body decorated with opposing panels, one side with a grey dragon against a dark blue ground, the reverse with polychrome ho-o bird on a royal blue ground, all reserved against a translucent green ground filled with polychrome kiku flowerheads and scrolling tendrils, flanked by a pair of similarly decorated arched upright handles, unsigned, height 25.5cm (dent and damage to one side of body).
