A Chinese famille rose porcelain scholar's inkstone box and cover, probably late Qing dynasty or later, of rectangular form, the cover painted with prunus blossom, flowers and rockwork, the sides painted with a pink scrolling band, the interior moulded with seven oval recesses to the base and cover underside, unmarked, length 14.5cm, width 6.8cm, height 3cm (minor faults).
