A 19th century Russian silver and niello altar tabernacle, 84 zolotnik, the turned surmount above an openwork niche, the rectangular base with drawer, all engraved with scenes of the life of Christ, raised on a shaped apron and bracket feet, Moscow 1869 by Vasily Potsov and assay master A. Svyechin, weight 784.8g, height 36.5cm (some faults).
