A Chinese Sichuan province verdigris bronze bird finial, probably 12th century BC from Sanxingdui, modelled with pierced crest and tail feathers, height 22cm, together with a copy of 'Ancient Sichuan Treasures from a Lost Civilization'. Note: a similar bird finial is illustrated in 'Ancient Sichuan Treasures From a Lost Civilization' edited by Robert Bagley, page 123.
