NEW NATURALIST. The New Naturalist Library. London: Collins and Harper Collins, 1971-2001. 37 vols., including 32 first editions, 8vo (221 x 151mm.) Numerous illustrations. (Toning, occasional spotting, some names inscribed.) Original cloth (spine ends bumped), dust-jackets (chipping to spine panel of volume 69, volumes 56,57,62 and 76 are price-clipped). Note an unbroken run from volumes 51 to 69 and 71 to 88. Volumes 53,58,60,62 are reprints and volume 71 is the second state. Provenance: by descent, from the estate of Rendel Williams (37).
